The harvest for 2025 produced an excellent quality, however, the quantity was much lower than last year. This was to be expected as olive trees need at least one year to recover following a bumper crop which we had in 2024. The EVOO is robust, grassy and peppery which is exactly as you would expect from a Tuscan producer. The acidity level is very low and the antioxidants and polyphenols are very high.
We have produced a limited number of 5L tins for sale to private customers and will be looking forward to a better quantity in 2026!
We still have a few tins and bottles from the 2024 harvest and the olive oil is still delicious but, of course, not as grassy as the fresh oil.
